Your Google listing

Beard'n Flame Barbershop Spreydon shows solid Google Business Listing health with a score of 6.8 out of 10, meaning the profile is above average but has room to improve. The listing has clear ownership, an open status, a website link, a valid title, and a phone number. The strongest current asset is photos, contributing to visibility, while the description could be refined.

Strengths

  • ✓
Open statusYour listing shows the business as trading, so customers see accurate availability and Google treats the listing as live.
  • ✓
ClaimedYour listing is claimed, so you control what it says, you can reply to reviews, and edits suggested by the public come to you first.
  • ✓
NameYour business name is showing on the listing, so a customer searching for you by name finds you, and everything else on the listing hangs off it.

Top three opportunities

  • 1
Description lengthYour description is far shorter than what most businesses here have written, which means a customer comparing listings gets a line from you and three paragraphs from the business beside you.
  • 2
Category fitYour categories cover less of this market than nearly every competitor, so someone searching for a job you actually do is shown a list your listing was never entered into.
  • 3
Photos on the listingYou carry more photos than most of this market, which gives a customer a real look at the work before they ring.

My son got his hair cut there, under NZ consumer laws, I believe he shouldn't have paid for this. Did a rookie do it? Before I even get told not to come back, it's already decided. The mall at Westfield does a better job.

Where customers find you

Beard'n Flame Barbershop Spreydon shows an above-average health score of 6.0 out of 10, indicating moderate overall strength in social presence and directories. Strengths include a very high trust Facebook profile and a well-maintained Fresha listing. Key opportunities lie in expanding on TikTok, adding NoSecretSalon presence, and building LinkedIn profiles for leaders and the company.

Strengths

  • ✓
Instagram ProfileWe found your Instagram Profile page, and the trail between you and it is unambiguous - it is linked from something you own, or it dominates a search for your name.

Top three opportunities

Your Facebook page

Strengths

  • ✓
A phone numberA phone number shows on your page, so the person who found you on Facebook before they found your website can ring straight from it.
  • ✓
An email addressCustomers can see an email address on the page, which gives the one who wants a quote in writing a route that does not depend on anyone picking up the phone.
  • ✓
A street addressA street address sits in your page details, so someone deciding between you and a business two suburbs over can see which of you is closer.

Top three opportunities

  • 1
A page address you choseYour page address is one Facebook generated rather than one you chose - your business name with a long number bolted on, or just the number.
  • 2
People following your pageFewer people follow your page than follow half the pages here.
  • 3
What your page says about youYour intro runs to a line, shorter than most pages here, so it names the business without settling whether you do the particular job the reader came about or cover the suburb they live in.

06Your websiteMarketbase business report

Your website

Beard'n Flame Barbershop Spreydon shows above-average on-page SEO health with a 6.2/10 overall. Current strengths include a valid favicon, fast page load under 3 seconds, a compact page size, and a visible H1 tag along with HTTPS content. The most important findings relate to missing meta description and suboptimal title tag length, plus a need to reduce render-blocking resources and improve the text-to-page size ratio.

Strengths

  • ✓
Domain HealthYour site answers cleanly over a secure connection, so a customer clicking through from Google lands where they expect with nothing in the way.
  • ✓
FaviconThe tab your site opens in carries your own icon, so a customer with a dozen tabs going can find their way back to you by sight.
  • ✓
Page load speedYour home page appears in under three seconds, so someone tapping through from a search result meets your business rather than a blank screen while they decide whether to wait.

Top three opportunities

  • 1
Meta descriptionYour pages carry no summary line of your own, so the two lines under your name in search results are whatever Google decides best fits the search.
  • 2
Separate sites linking to youOnly a handful of separate websites link to yours, well behind most of this market.
  • 3
Page titleThe headline on your home page is either a single word or long enough that a search result cuts it off part way through.

How people find you on Google

Beard'n Flame Barbershop Spreydon shows an above-average health score for website traffic at 6.0/10. Organic traffic metrics are solid, with organic traffic value already surpassing the 25th percentile and traffic above the bottom quartile, indicating steady visibility. Paid opportunities are clearer gaps, with no measurable paid traffic or spend yet. Focused paid campaigns could unlock new potential while sustaining organic momentum.

Strengths

Your first one is close. Sort an opportunity below and it moves up here.

Top three opportunities

  • 1
What that traffic is worthThe search visitors reaching your site are worth less than most businesses here, which means the work coming in arrives through word of mouth and repeat customers rather than through people searching for what you do.
  • 2
What you spend on adsWe can see no paid search activity for your site, which in most local markets is the norm rather than a gap.
  • 3
Monthly search visitsYour site draws fewer visitors from search than most businesses here, so most people looking for what you do are landing somewhere else.
